Gionni Terrell '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Gionni Terrell and I have been playing football competitively since the age of five. I have a 3.2 GPA and this past season I played RB, SR, CB, PR and KR at the Varsity level for Forest Park HS in Woodbridge VA.  I Finished with 4 TD's, 481Yard, 45 tackles, 350 receiving yards, and over 1000 all purpose yards in 6 games. 

I am an US Army dependent, this has allowed me to move around a bit. I have lived in 5 different States (KY, VA, GA, CA and AZ), playing competitive football in 4 of them (VA, GA CA and AZ). Because of my travels I am well rounded as an individual and as a player. The game of football has given me a consistency within myself despite circumstances and change.

This semester I dedicated over 621 hours of community service. My ultimate goal is to become a Sports therapist and someday earn a living doing what I always wanted to do. Understanding that the pursuit of a NFL career can run parallel to my academic dream, I have dedicated myself to the classroom as well.

My approach to the game of football and life is simple; be prepared to be the best. I was always taught to be capable of confidently competing at whatever position the teams need me to play while being the best leader, peer and young man that I can. Anchored with sound character, consistency and discipline life has afforded me many opportunities. I feel that I am extremely blessed that life continues to reward me for all my efforts.
