John Tolley '12 Recruiting Profile

Hey, this is Hunter Tolley. Thank you for viewing my profile, and taking the time to find out what kind of person I am, on and off of the field.  Football has always been my favorite sport, and I started playing when I was in 3rd grade (3rd Grade is the first year you can play in my county).  Ever since then, I have pretty much loved it and never wanted the seasons to end.  Through the years of playing "Rec. League", Middle School, and High School Football, I have played many positions including:  runningback, quarterback, wide receiver, linebacker, corner, safety, and many more.  I am currently a wing-back in a Wing-T offense.  So im not only running the football, but I am also used as a receiver.  This past Junior year for me i had 13 touchdowns. 10 of them were rushing touchdowns, and the other 3 were reception touchdowns.  I had a pretty good season last year, but hope to do even better my Senior year.  Even though football is my favorite sport, I also play soccer, and run track.  This past soccer season, I was the 2nd leading goal scorer in my district, with 15 goals. In my track season I was part of a record-breaking, State Champion winning 4x100 Relay team, which I am very proud of.  Not only did we break our school record, but we broke our district record, our region record, and many meet records.  We were only off of the state record by 7 tenths of a second with a 42.91, while the state record was a 42.24.  This was my first year running track, and I qualified in 3 different events to go to state. I ran the 100m, the 200m, and of course the 4x100 relay.  Next year our 4x100 Relay team hopes not only to win State again, but to also break the state record.  I like to think that I had a pretty successfull Junior year, but I know that my Senior year is going to be even better.  Our football team has high hopes of winning a State championship this year, and I know that I will be a big contribution to the team.  I am working very hard this offseason and I am very excited for football to start.  If you have any questions please send me an e-mail, because I am highly interested in any college that is interested in me.
