Coming into my junior year of high school I feel that this is my first year to make a serious impact on my team as a whole, whether that be on the field or off it. This year I was selected to be among the four captains of the team. My coaches chose me due to my commitment to the program. Coaches told me that kids that go to every workout, stay to work after practice, and help out other teammates don't come around too often. This season I and my team are hoping to make it past the first round of the playoffs and get our program back to its former glory. On an academic side of things. My former 4.0 GPA is gone now I hold a 3.9. Losing this was due to my Pre-ap English class as I finished with an A-. Now my only goal is to just do the best I can do academically
My goals for the future are not set in stone yet. I would really love the chance to get to continue my football career at a collegiate level. This sport as meant a lot to me from a young age. Back in 6th grade, my teacher was one of the coaches for our high school team. I remember just talking all class with him about the games from Friday nights and designing plays in class that the team could run. I hope that even if I don't make it on any team at the collegiate level that maybe I could someway still be around the sport. I think that one thing that separates me from others is my loyalty to any program that wants me. I am willing to do whatever it takes to make my high school team great again and I will do the same for any college team that takes a chance on me.
