I aspire to attend the best collegiate fit for both me and the program. As both my parents played college athletics, I've been taught from a young age that athletic ability will not get me to the next level alone. Rather, hard-work, passion, dedication, desire, love for "the grind", being a leader, being the best possible teammate, being coachable, out-working everyone else, relentless studying are just a few things which will help get me there. No matter the sport, I'm proud that I've always received the "hardest-worker" award. Freshman don't make Varsity at my high school, let alone start, & while this is something to be proud of, it was more of an honor to be named Captain by my teammates in my 4th Varsity game.
While football is my passion and my love, I realize there is "life after football". Thus, I want a program that will develop me from a young man, into a successful man outside of football. I want a program with incredible academics and will help set me up for life after football.
I can't wait to hear from you and learn more about your program and how we might be a mutual fit for each other.
