My name is Grant Opitz, and I’m entering my junior year of high school with my sights set on playing college football. I’ve focused my skills development on playing offense, specifically center, since I first started playing in fourth grade. As a varsity starter beginning my sophomore season, I’ve enjoyed the chess match that playing offensive line affords, working with my brothers in the trenches to read defense and adjust accordingly.
Beyond football, I’ve maintained a 4.0 grade point average through middle school and high school, with the goal of sustaining that level of excellence through graduation and into my college years. For balance, I also play basketball and baseball, striving to work hard, play smart, and remain coachable in every endeavor.
