Personal Statement

I'm going into my senior year at Kamiakin high school this coming fall. This will be my third year starting at the varsity level. I have been playing football since i was 5 years old. Football and other competitive activities are big in my  life. From the day i started playing sports i have had no time to spare, do to all the time put towards football and baseball. After 8 years of playing baseball i have chosen to stop playing and dedicate all my time to football. Since i was young all i wanted to do was make a impact in the next level, whether leading the team to victory or fighting along side my brothers on the field.

As a competitor i hate to lose and will go 100% at all cost to help stop that from happening. To help with this i strive to get bigger, faster and stronger. Also by working on my footwork to help with my agility. I am a leader and try my best to be the best one i can be. In the beginning of high school i had my struggles but have chose to over come them and lead by example. I am a tough, hard working player. One thing i pride myself of having is my heart. I don't believe in giving up. My team voted me as a captain this up coming season.

I wasn't the best in the class room but have worked hard and changed my ways. Since my junior year i have not had a GPA below a 3.0. My goal for senior year is to be above a 3.5 GPA. Friends and family are a very important part of my life. With them you can accomplish anything if they help and support you. Everything i do is for my parents, who have gave up so much to get me to this point.

The college i want to attend is one with a great atmosphere to be able to work hard in school and also on my skills on the field. My options are open for any type of school, but want to find the right one that fits my type of skills at the highest level possible. But most of all i want to be a role model for the future generations to come.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
