My name is Michael Barnes. I am a 5'11", 180lb, 4.0GPA student athlete. I attend Timberline High School in Lacey, WA. I have been starting varsity since my Sophomore year in school on both sides of the ball. I played corner and slot receiver. I also punted and served as the kick returner. I lettered in both Wrestling and Track my Freshman year, finishing 5th at the 4A State Track meet in the 4x100 relay. My relay team holds the school record. I played center field for a very successful select baseball club and I am currently a member of RISE Football Academy 7v7 national travel team.
I want to attend a school where my academics and athletic attributes excel. I am looking for a school with a engineering program. My athletic goals are pretty simple, I want be part of a successful program and make an immediate impact on the team. I haven't limited myself in the scope of where I would like to attend school or play football. I am looking for the right fit both, academically and athletically.
