I am a 5 foot 8 inch, 155 pound Junior football player. I have played three years for my high school and will play my Senior year as well. Before high school I played 4th, 6th, 7th (played for middle school and city league), and 8th grade. Just a couple stats about me, my max bench press is 235 lbs. Squat is 280 lbs. Power clean is 185 lbs. I am going to work on improving my speed significantly as I will need it to be successful next year and help my team by being the best I can be. At my high school we have an award called the "Ironman" award. The criteria for the past three years I have been a part of the football program is to make every practice from day one and stay eligible throughout the season. I haved earned this award all three years I have played. I am a dedicated student as well as a dedicated player. I strive to make myself better every time I get the chance. I have the drive and desire to want to become a better player and teammate. What I can offer to a team is dedication as I stated before. I am a hard worker. Over the summer I would stay after workouts with the younger players and help the receivers with their routes and throw with the quarterbacks giving them extra practice as well. I am a disciplined player. That is a core value we have on our team. Discipline is the key to everything because without discipline you won't be able to do your job to your best ability. I am a leader by example. I am not the kind of person to yell at others but I do give encouragement to my teammates and help them when I can see they need it. Unfortunately I have not figured out where I want to go to school or what type of school I want to attend, however I am open to many options at this point as far as division level and size and I do know I want to go to a school that has good academics. I also have not found a career I want to pursue yet but I realize I need to start narrowing my options down at some point so I can be as successful as possible in my academics and the years following college.
