Personal Statement

Both of my parents were Division One Varsity Athletes. My mom was a 4 year swimmer and my dad played Baseball. I have always looked up to them and what they were able to achieve.  Their success has fueled me and been a goal of mine since I started playing sports.  I want to be a College Athlete like my parents and compete at the highest level. They have taught me the value of hard work, dedication and being a good teammate. They have also taught me to never give up.

I am different from my peers because not many 17year olds that are 6'1 and 275 pounds can move the way I move on the football field.  I may be big, but my feet are fast and my hands are soft. My line coach tells me I am one of the hardest working athlete he has ever trained, and that means a lot to me because he has trained amazing athletes at every level.  My physical attributes combined with my work ethic make me special.  It takes a lot to rattle me.  I thrive in pressure situations and I love a challenge. My school coach calls me a warrior that leads the team into battle each and every game.  I work just as hard in the classroom as I do on the football field and I am as proud of my grades as I am of my athletic successes.

One of the things I am most proud of is helping my teammates be better - in practices, in games and in life situations.  I am proud to be "that guy" that they can always depend on. I believe because of these attributes, I would be a value to any college program as student athlete and I cannot wait to make this dream a reality!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
