My name is Alex Weber. I am a Junior at Chiawana High School in Pasco Washington. Our community bleeds football and has programs that start us at six years old. In my pop warner years I led my team to back to back all city Super Bowls before I went on to high school football. My Freshman year on varsity our team went to the state quarterfinals. As a Sophomore I was defensive captain and we swept our league undefeated. I ended the year with being the only Sophomore voted by the league's coaches onto their 'Best of 2011' roster. As a Junior, I am the league defensive MVP player of the year, 1st Team All Conference, Team Captain and am Northwestpreps.com #1 2014 prospect for 2014. Academically, I am a 3.95/4.0 student and starting my 11th grade year, take all advanced courses at our local Community College. Disciplining my self to take these courses will get me an AA degree along with my high school diploma at my graduation.
Regarding athletics, football is my sport -- NO other. I am either in season playing football or I'm in and out of the gym training and watching film. Off season I work out three times a day. I do a 5:15 a.m. Les Mills cardio class, a mid-day weights class, and another weightlifting/cardio class in the late afternoon. After that (2-3 times a week) I go to my MMA gym that a friend and I own (www.fight-mma.com). I do some training there (mostly for flexibility), get any homework done and usually come home around 7pm. As my coaches and parents will testify, I am serious about what I do, know the direction I'm going and am very focused on achieving it.
