My name is Jake Smith and my passion is football. I play wide receiver, cornerback and special teams and am willing to play anywhere I am needed. I’ve played football since the 3rd grade and never missed a year. I love contact and am a physical player. I also play lacrosse in the off season to keep up my conditioning and my love for a good hit. Playing college football is a huge goal for me as I want to get a good education while playing the game that I love.
I have always worked very hard to keep my grades up, as I want to go to a good college, and succeed in life.
My football coach chose me for the last 2 years to attend a leadership camp, which I did, and really enjoyed it. I attended the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine last summer for 10 days at Berkeley College in California, and learned many things about leadership and my future education.
I have been participating in skills football camps, combines and 7 on 7’s since I was 7 years old. The instruction and experience I have gained at these events have helped to keep me learning and improving in the game of football. I have attended two NUC combines, and was invited to the Ultimate 100 in Los Angeles, CA 3 years in a row.
I also have my team hudl.com account with many highlight videos. See my highlights and profile there as well.

I am waiting for the first few games of this football season to upload a more current varsity highlight video, but you can view my JV and past varsity highlight video from last season on YouTube.
