I have been playing basketball since 1st grade. I've played soccer for 3years and football for 5years. I have loved athletics ever since I was around 2yrs old. I love leaving it all out on the court during games and practices. My teammates make fun of me for how much I love basketball practice. I enjoy every time I am able to get onto a court with a ball in my hand. To me every practice and game is a battle and I am determined to win. I love being part of a team and that is why I love basketball so much.As a freshman, I was given the opportunity to play both varsity and Junior varsity. Going into my sophomore year I had grown a lot and was a starter for most games on the varsity level, having the 3rd highest scoring average on the team. My Junior year came and I was the captain on my team and was an all league player. I come from a pretty athletic family, which is a blessing. My Grandpa, Brent Harken was an amazing track star at WSU with a PR in high jumping of 7'8". My dad was also a track star at the University of Idaho, with a PR of 6'8" for high jumping. Playing college basketball is a huge priority when I think about college, and I look forward to what God has for me in the next years. I am committed to walking with the Lord, and want to serve Him all my days, using basketball to glorify Him.
