Severe acid reflux as a baby caused me to have speech problems early on in life. I was diagnosed as being 9-12 months behind at the age of three. Fortunately I was able to overcome this disadvantage by the age of six because of the aggressive help of both my parents and speech therapists. This early incident taught me about the importance of communication since most individuals could never understand me back then.
Every football team wants athletes who can compete at the next level but no team can reach that plateau if you have a bunch of individuals who disregard the importance of the team as a whole. In my view of the football world, the team comes first, and then me. I learned early on in my first year of playing football in 6th grade that winners never whine about what other players do and do not do. That is the coaches job. My only worry is what Nathaniel Hughes does or does not do properly. Because the rest will eventually take care of itself over time.
My current goals are to achieve both academic and football success at the high school level. Which then should lay the foundation for me to move on to college. An opportunity to advance at both of these levels in the upcoming years would be an honor and a life fulfilling dream of mine. I feel like I have matured as both a player and a young man throughout my football playing days with all the peaks and valleys that I have experienced. So I am ready for whatever lies ahead for me. My goal is for it to be quite a high peak!
