Hello my name is Payton Lunsford. I am in the class of 2018, and I am currently a sophomore. I am from Hurricane, West Virginia and play for the Hurricane Redskins. I am 16 yrs old and still growing. I am #4 and I play linebacker and running back. I started five games at inside linebacker as a sophomore and occasionally rotated in at running back, but had a season ending injury with a broken hand in the sixth game of the season. I had 35 tackles and 1 interception in six games. I am currently 5'11 205 lbs., I run a 4.8 40 yard dash, bench press 310, and I have a 3.5 GPA. I also wrestle. Coming off a broken hand this season I qualified for states as a sophomore. I am a hard worker on and off the field. I fell that I would be a good addition to any collegiate program.
