Adam Dunn '14 Recruiting Profile

Hello there, my name is Adam Dunn and I am a senior at Martinsburg (WV) High School. I will graduate in May of 2014. I am 6'4" and weigh 250 lbs. My teams, the Bulldogs, are 4-time consecutive state champions in 2010, 2011 and 2012. I have been playing since I was in 4th grade and began my career with Martinsburg as an 8th grader. I was invited to be a member of Football University this past summer and was chosen to attend their coveted Top Gun Camp in Dublin, Ohio in July. I had a great time and learned many new techniques that I have since shared with my coaches and fellow players. We are currently had won our state championship in our class of AAA. Has never been done before in AAA history! We have been preparing hard and feel ready. I have a 3.0 GPA but I am constantly working to improve that. My grades this semester have improved drastically and I am really enjoying my classes and the challenges. I am the Vice President of our Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapter which I have been involved in since 7th grade, I am very active in my church in many roles as my faith is very important to me. I am also an avid weightlifter and have earned the right to be in the Ironman club which is selective and I am part of the MHS Track team. I also enjoy mentoring the freshman and JV Football players at my school. We are working on a 4th State Championship and I hope to have the opportunity to meet with you and talk about my future. I have several friends that attend Fairmont and love it there and would love the opportunity to visit and tour the campus. I have looked at the majors that are offered and there are several things I am interested in and know that I could be a real asset to your program.
