My name is Jack Armstrong, I attend University High School in Morgantown, WV. I am looking for the right college /university that will allow me to earn an education and play a game I love to play. The choice I make must be the right fit for me and the team I play for.
As a freshman I was selected by the University High coaches to represent the school on the OVAC Varsity Board. I take great pride in this honor.
As a sophomore I started on both sides of the ball and became a leader on the team.
I entered my junior year as a preseason 2nd team all state candidate. I will be used in a number of different ways this year. Sometimes I will line up at WR, sometimes at QB, sometimes at RB. I will do whatever it takes for my team to win. While personal statistics are important to give recruiters an idea of my talents, my team's success is my priority. I also play safety on defense, return punts and kickoffs.
My senior year is now upon me. This summer I spent every minute preparing for my future. I attended 10 camps, I attended my team's 3 week practice period, I competed in three 7 on 7 tournaments, and spent my evenings running routes for a college QB home for the summer. I am receiving preseason accolades, these are great, but mean nothing if our team does not reach the state finals.
My future goals includes earning an education that will give me the opportunity to have a successful career. I have not decided exactly what this career is, but I am leaning towards exercise physiology or kinesiology that would lead to a physical therarpy career, and I would not count out coaching. I want to be a part of a football family that loves to play the game, that works hard everyday to get better. I would like to play at the highest level my abilities allow me to play.
I am strong, fast, have good hands and I am a student of the game. I can help your team if given the chance.
