Ryan Tindall '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ryan Tindall and I am from Etna, WY. I am a senior at Star Valley High School in Afton, WY and expect to graduate with the class of 2013. I am a member of the varsity football team and my primary position is left guard. I am also a backup outside linebacker and have previous experience as a wide receiver and free safety. I have also been a member of the track team since my freshman year. I am 5'10 and I weigh about 170 pounds.

I am interested in pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or a similar filed of study and hope to continue playing football at the college level while doing so. I love the sport and enjoy being on the field. When I step onto the field during practice or even better, during a game, I love the feeling of the adrenaline and being able to go out there and have fun with my teammates while playing this amazing sport. Football to me is a life choice and I've dedicated myself to the sport. I've spent the past 4 years lifting year round, trying to get faster and stronger. I try to do what I can to stay in shape and keep a healthy lifestyle during the season and during the off-season by working out and making healthy eating choices. I'm also a sprinter for my school's indoor track team during the winter and outdoor track team during the spring, which keeps me involved and active throughout the year. I've spent every summer lifting weights and conditioning myself in the weight room at school every chance that I get.

I believe that being able to continue my athletic career during college will allow me to continue to contribute not only to my desire to remain competitive both athletically and academically, but to also contribute my best to any college or university that I may ultimately attend in the future.
