My name is Dillon Barnes, I will be entering my senior year (2022-2023) at Stanhope Elmore H.S. located in Millbrook Alabama. I am the starting point guard for the Varsity male basketball team. I began my varsity basketball career during the 2020-2021 season. Through aggressive training and perseverance, I was awarded the starting position as point and shooting guard during the second half of the 2021-2022 season. Before varsity basketball, I played the position of starting point guard for junior varsity for one (1) year but was moved up to varsity. I also participated in Amateur Athletic Union (travel basketball) for the past four (4) years which I started as the point guard and sometimes the shooting guard. I am always looking for ways to improve my skills to play at the next level. I love the competitiveness of the game, but I do believe in team basketball! I approach this game unselfishly, always trying to ignite other teammates to perform at their best. I try my best to play disciplined basketball, I’m not perfect but I strive to make wise decisions when on the floor. I encourage you to examine my videos and hopefully, you will see something that will be an asset to your program. If not, please let me know what I can improve in. My ears are open to ways to improve my game. Thank you for your time and inquiry about my profile.
