Micah Boone '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Micah Boone and I am a 12th grader at LAMP High School in Montgomery, AL.  In my 9th grade year, my team made it to sub-regionals, which was a great accomplishment for our team. Even though I rarely played, I think I learned the most that year. I learned a lot about the game of basketball that year and not playing made me hungry to become a better player and leader who can play at the college level. Through basketball, I learned the values of perseverance, teamwork, and leadership. I also learned that I am resilient and will not let anything stop me from achieving my goals.

Academics is very important to me.  My academic goals are to be in the top ten percent of my high school class, and to study engineering in college. Because of my perseverance, work-ethic, and talent, I know that I would be a great fit for any college team, on and off the court.
