Personal Statement

Hello my name is Ron Hudson Jr., and I am part of the Central High School graduating class of 2021. My main primary position in basketball is point guard (#1) and my alternate position is shooting guard (#2). I have played in various positions on the floor, all depending from high school team to AAU team. My future goal is to be an Athletic Trainer in the sports medicine field. In my family, education come's first before anything. I like to think of myself as an Academic Athlete and not a Student Athlete, because as an Academic Athlete I'm able to receive not only a Academic Scholarships, but also a Athletic Scholarship as well, and there is no such thing of a student scholarship. As an athlete there is always something to improve on to make my game better. I am the type of person who is willing to learn from different coaches, and their perspectives, and tips in basketball. I try to perfect my craft as much as I can whenever I have the time to do so. Because of my attitude, performance, and hard work, I have been choosen for the past two seasons to be Captain of my AAU team (Tri-City Thunder). I show great sportsmanship win, lose, or draw. I also listen to my teammates ideas on certain things in the game because we all have to learn to work together as a team on the court. I never look down on any of my teammates or think I’m better than any of them. I believe in all of my teammates and trust that they will make the right choices on game day. I know that we may make mistakes, but it’s up to us as a team to learn from them. I look forward to hearing from some of the college coaches. This is a great experience preparing for the next stage of my life.

                                                                                                                     Very Respectfully,

                                                                                                                                        Ron D. Hudson Jr.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
