Sawyer Wright '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sawyer Wright and I am a 6’8” Center/Power Forward from Tuscumbia, AL. I have been playing at Deshler High School at the JV level during my Freshman year and at the Varsity level during my Sophomore year. Although I did not start during my first varsity experience, I provided valuable bench minutes on a team lacking much paint presence.

I have a 4.0 gpa and currently have a 28 on the ACT.  I will continue to work to improve that score.

In short, I am looking for a college environment that will push me academically and that will give me the best chance to enjoy the career of my dreams relatively debt free. In exchange for this, I will work as hard as I possibly can to be the best student, athlete, and person I can be, and to be someone that my team and my school can be proud of. Currently, I would like to pursue a career in finance or business. 

As far as athletics are concerned, I am looking for a coaching staff and system that will use me to my full potential and that can use my particular skillset to better the team as a whole. I am an athlete who is always willing to make sacrifices to help the team succeed.
