David Oluwafemi '24 Recruiting Profile

Dear trainers, 

I am writing to express my college goals and aspirations and to illustrate why I believe I would be a valuable addition to your basketball team.   My university goal is primarily to achieve academic and sporting excellence. My goal is to maintain a high GPA while  contributing positively to the success of the basketball program. I am aware of how important it is to combine studies and sport and I do everything I can to be successful in both areas.   As a player, I have several qualities  that I think make me a good fit for your team.

Firstly, I am extremely dedicated and hardworking. I am willing to invest additional hours of practice and training to continually improve my skills and contribute to the team's success. Additionally, I am a team player who values collaboration and communication on and off the field. I know the importance of working together as a cohesive unit to achieve our goals and  am always willing to do whatever it takes to support my teammates.  

 Regarding my character, I pride myself on being a disciplined and respectful person on and off the field. I understand the importance of representing my team and  school in a positive light and  am committed to always upholding the values of sportsmanship and integrity. I am also a natural leader who leads by example and strives to motivate and inspire my teammates to be the best versions of themselves.    

I have a strong track record academically and  am confident in my ability to excel in the classroom while  balancing the demands of being a student-athlete. I know the importance of time management and organization, so I try to prioritize academic and  athletic tasks.  Overall, I believe  my combination of dedication, work ethic, leadership skills and academic abilities make me a strong candidate for your basketball team.

I am confident that I can make a positive contribution  on and off the field and look forward to continuing my academic and athletic journey at the collegiate level.
