Philip Manuel Ortencio '20 Recruiting Profile

For my coming college years, I want to be the best team leader I can be. I will do my best to keep my teammates heads up all the time. I will listen very closely to my coaches, despite my lack of English knowledge as an immigrant. I will do my very best to be the person and player I can be through out my journey. Knowing that I am still working on my academic marks, I will still study while being a student athlete to balance everything in terms of social life, school life, and sports life. As a 5’10” point guard, I can be athletic and grab boards for my teammates. I don’t let my height be a reason for me to back down, I would choose to guard someone that I know I can handle to help the team win.
