I honestly didn't start with basketball. I played a lot of sports in my country Nigeria, Africa before I immigrated to Alberta, Canada at the age of ten.
At this time I played a lot of sports but they were all boring. They were all missing something.....passion! when I tried basketball for the first time at ten I couldn't stop playing. It was like candy to me and I couldn't stop eating it :). Every day after that my passion grew, and so did my game. My passion pushed me to lengths I couldn't reach, it got me out of bed every single day to train, so I can perform for the game I love. When I watch NBA or any top-level basketball association leagues, I feel the passion. When I see how the top players express themselves through the game, it fires me up every day to do my best to be just like them. Initially, when I started playing with my teammates there was no trust and no chemistry between us but over time, we were able to close the gaps because we all had one thing in common, passion! Together we created skills we didn't think were possible as a team. those skills have made me become a fantastic player individually. I might not be the captain or score as many points but I can always maintain the chemistry and keep the positivity going, closing the gaps. I believe am a very good player, whose potentials has barely even been scratched. My goal is to move up the leagues to the most competitive college division in basketball and eventually become the next Kobe Bryant of basketball. I believe I can achieve this goal because I have the passion, the drive, the skills, the inert potentials, and most of all - the indomitable mamba spirit.
