My end goal is to play basketball at the highest level. I do want to graduate from college and leave behind a great legacy at the school I go to, hopefully having been in contention for various awards and ultimately the national championship. What makes me different is that I am very willing to learn, and will go the distance to become the best player and best person I can be. I've never really had the opportunity to go to any prestigious camps (other than being invited to the adidas tri-city top 40 camp) or play a national schedule like other top recruits, but if given the chance to play against the best and work with the best, I will definitely hold my own. I am a very unselfish person on and off the court always wanting the best for everyone around me, creating a wonderful environment. Ultimately I would like to make a positive difference in the world through basketball. The one thing that at the time was devastating but now I can see was a blessing was being moved down from varsity to junior varsity, the coaches told me I had it all, except the fact that I was not a great verbal leader and only chose to lead by example. Playing junior varsity has helped me grow into a true point guard that just doesn't have the skills and athleticism, but can take charge and be the leader on the team. Academically I may not be the smartest person in the class, but I work very hard to increase and maintain my grades to keep strong that motto of being a student athlete.
