Heart and hustle should be my middle names because that is what sets me apart from other recruits. I have been playing basketball since grade 7, but my learning curve was interrupted by Covid 19 restrictions when my Jr. High teams and club teams were not allowed to play due to government rules. I continued to play with my stepbrothers freezing in the church parking lot and finally with our street hoop when my mom finally bought us one. However, when teams were allowed to play again in my Grade 9 year, I began to improve exponentially. In grade 10, I won the Bulldog award. By grade 11, I was the team captain and won MVP at the end of the season. I always remain positive during games, and try to build up my team members so that they reach their full potential. I am tenacious, and I never give up. As a younger player, my braces went through my lip, and I wanted to wipe up the blood and keep playing. My positions are shooting guard and point guard, because I am a consistent shooter off of the dribble and catch and shoot. I have a high shooting percentage from just outside the key, and a fairly consistent three pointer. I am a scrappy defender, and I'll always hustle for a loose ball. I plat to take my leadership abilities from the court into the faculty of business.
