Garrett Anderson '20 Recruiting Profile

As a student athlete I have very high goals and aspirations, I plan majoring in the pre dental field and continuing down the path of oral surgery. I believe I would be a great assest to the team because of my shooting, rebounding, and definsive abilities. I have put in hundreds of hours perfecting my shot and I take pride in my ability to guard the high school 1 -4  positions, score the basketball, and being scrappy for every rebound. I was almost always assigned to guard and lock down the most dominant player on the opposing team as I was awarded defensive player of the year for my high school team 3 out of the 4 years of high school. I have a relentless work ethic, I'm coachable, and a team first mentality. What makes me different from other athletes is I am a 3 sport athlete. I experienced a lot of success as I was a varisty track and cross country athelete for 4 years. In those 4 years I contributed to  2 track state championships and a cross country state runner up and ran a personal best mile time of 4:26. After high school I will serve a mission for my church where I will improve my character and serving others for 2 years. According to plus and minus stats, I bring an energy and positive influnce every time I step on the court. I know because of my skills, characteristics, my work ethic, and love for the game I will contiue to grow immensely each year of my career and I will be a great assest to any team.
