Mikey Schinstock '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mikey Schinstock and I am a Senior at Payson High School in Payson, AZ. Sports has always been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember especially basketball. I like to encourage my teammates to do their best and I enjoy bringing energy to my team off the court, during practice and at each game. Basketball has taught me to remain humble and stay true to myself.

My love for basketball started when I was around 5 and I’ve been playing organized basketball ever since. I began to take basketball seriously my freshman year when I realized that dreams can come true with hard work. I am very dedicated and committed to training and work hard to improve my skills almost everyday.  I've played AAU basketball and also worked with a personal trainer (both require a 3 hour round trip drive).  It's my dream to play at the collegiate level and I’m not afraid of the hard work and commitment that is necessary to make it happen. 

I also achieved my goal this year by breaking our school record on 2/9/24 for most 3-point field goals made in a game (9 for 11), against the #8 seed, with a career high of 39 points.
