Nathan Perry '19 Recruiting Profile

I am passionate about the value of teamwork, commitment, dedication, and leadership.  Above all else, I value hard work day in and day out. There are no days off in basketball.  My work ethic and intensity set me apart from other players. I am the first one in the gym and the last one out.  I have a strong basketball IQ which allows me to see plays developing during the game. I am a strong ball handler, and I have the ability to elevate the gameplay on both the offensive and defensive side.

The final four state playoffs as a junior last year in 2017-2018 were the highlight of my high school career. I feel I have grown the most as a student-athlete from my sophomore to my senior year because I was able to make an impact in the game as a starting guard these last two seasons.  However, when our team lost in overtime to the number one seed in the state tournament (Deer Valley), it helped me grow mentally as a team leader. That experience has helped me develop as a person and has motivated me during this senior 2018-2019 season to make it back to the state playoffs.   I am one hundred percent focused on dedicating myself to become a collegiate level player.

I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically.   I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work ethic, and grit to make an immediate impact within your program.   As a top guard in the state of Arizona, I know I have what it takes to be successful at the next level.
