Kannon Jewell '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am Kannon. I have been playing basketball and football ever since I remember. During my freshman year of high school, our freshman team went undefeated during the season. We beat two teams that our program never have beat before. But the next year, we didn’t have the same luck. We lost 4 games, and I got a concussion during the 4th game, ending my season early. So now I am focusing on basketball and making sure I am on the top of my game.  I want to use basketball to help me get through college and focus on the bigger goals and aspirations of my life. I feel like sports have taught me great lessons to get through my life.

  Basketball and football have taught me countless life lessons, including teamwork, trust, self motivation, self awareness, and personal growth. I am very thankful to be one of the lucky people capable playing a sport, nevertheless two of them. So for the less capable, I try to be kind and help them out as much as possible through church and through my sporting teams.
