A lot of people have told me that I must have been born with a basketball in my hand. I sure do love the game and can't imagine where I would be today without it. Getting to play at the college level has been a dream of mine for several years, and I am working hard to make that dream come true. As a sophomore, I was an All-Conference and All-District player, and have earned those same awards this year and added All-State.
I am a hustler on the court--always ready to make something happen. When I'm playing ball, I go into a zone where all I am thinking is, "get that ball and get it to the hole." I am a shooting guard, with three pointers as a specialty, but I can also drive down the center with the best of them--at least that's what a lot of people tell me. There aren't many who can beat me on defense, either. I just love the game and love it even more when I am playing on a team that is winning.
I also think I am a pretty likable person and coachable player. My high school coach depends on me a lot to get and keep my teammates motivated. Because I love the game so much and don't like to lose, I know how important it is to listen to and execute a coach's directions.
