~~My priorities are god, my family, and school, but my dream is to become the best basketball player that I can be. Everything I do is devoted to being a better person from the court, to the classroom, and even at home. For me, there is no offseason. Every day I’m either in the gym lifting weights, working on my ball handling and shooting, or playing in tournaments competing with other athletes. Even though basketball is on my mind all the time, school comes first. Before I go to the gym, I get all of my homework done. In my household, academics are big. As I got older, I realized that basketball is not going to get me anywhere without an education. That’s why I maintain a 3.3 GPA. One of my biggest goals is to play basketball on the collegiate level. While I’m in college, I am willing to work hard every day and still maintain at least a 3.0 GPA. I know that playing college basketball isn’t going to be easy, but I will out work the next player to fulfill my dream. I can offer a team the skills of a point guard with my ball handling and passing skills, and a shooting guard with my shooting abilities. But don’t forget about defense. Every player should be able to defend. I have taken my game to the next level by becoming a lockdown defender. I am the type of player that you would but on the other team’s best player. I am currently 6’1 and 166 lbs. Every day I go to the gym to lift weights. All season, my coach told me that I need to get stronger. My goal is to weigh 175 lbs before my junior season. I want to play on the highest competition level possible and make an impact on any team that I play on. No one is perfect so there is always a time to get better.
