My name is Peyton Roberson Caldwell. My goal is to go to a Division 11 college. I am currently 6'3 and a shooting guard. I currently just started growing and our growth doctor says I will be 6'5 to 6'6. My mother was an all American basketball player in Division II basketball. (she is 6'2)
My goal is to be a shooting guard to small forward.
My strengths are my shooting range. I am a pure shooter that is an excellent three point shooter. I have worked hard to improve my mid level game. I moved to a Searcy Arkansas (Searcy High School) after divorce of parents. I am a senior at Searcy High School.
Other strengths: High basketball IQ, can score in bunches, can create my own shoot, fast and athletic, competitive nature and leadership ability, hard worker, 100% committed to success and improving my game, very coachable and a very good student with high GPA.
Working on: rebounding, side to side speed for defense
I believe that after three years (graduating 2019) of working under Coach Shane Cowherd and playing 6A basketball for 3 years, I will be ready to help a team reach their goals. I will have played against the best in the state as well as learned defensive strategies as well as a very complex offense. I will grow into my adult body (hopefully 6'5). Memorial has won the state championship in 2011 and 2013 and Coach Cowherd was the USA today 2014 coach of the year.
