Over my many years of playing basketball, I have had one goal in mind, and that is to play basketball at the college level. Whether that be in the NCAA or the NAIA. I believe that I am a good student-athlete because I balance basketball and academics in a very rigorous program. I am currently doing the IB program (International Baccalaureate) and playing at a high level of basketball. In the classroom, I tend to ask questions and overall learn as much as I can and I am not afraid of hard work, which then corresponds to the basketball court I have the tendency to ask coaches lots of questions and be the hardest worker. I am not a selfish player I try to impact the team as much as I can as a leader, trying to be the most vocal person on the court, and encouraging teammates. I think one thing that separates me from other student-athletes is I am always hungry for more and every single day I demand more from myself, create higher expectations, and always keep the same hardworking mindset for academics and for basketball. Secondly, I try to connect with my teammates as much as I can because I see them as family. That being said it is important to talk to them off the court about important things, the idea of a team being family I then see a game as a war, which motivates me to leave everything on the court because I am fighting alongside my teammates.
