I'm an international student from Turkey, and basketball has always been a part of my life since I was 7 years old. I started playing basketball back in my school in Turkey and I was the captain of my school and club teams in Turkey but I left Turkey to continue my high school education in Canada and I studied in Bodwell High School in North Vancouver, British Columbia, continued playing basketball in Bodwell High School as well but due the coivd restrictions first season my school did not let my team play and in my last season unfortunately I broke my hand and I had to get a surgery but I fully recovered and really passionate to be back on the court. I can say that I am one of the most competitive players you would see, even after my surgery the doctors were telling it would take months for me to go back practicing, after 3-4 weeks I was already taking minutes on the court and I was with my team even though I was suffering with so much pain, also I have great leadership skills that I gained throughout my captainship role and from the great coaches I played for. I might not be a tall player, but with my pace and athleticism I think I balance it,
