Covid has changed the game this year. We have had no games, no club, no regular training besides 2x a week in school. I have really focused on getting my shots , 150 a day from 4 positions on the court. I also focused on weight training and keeping the cardio at a game level. I have worked really hard on my leg strength, now being able to above the rim from a standing position. Previously I entered in as many 1 day drill practices that were being offered, played with a club team, I helped coach the fundamentals from grade 7 to 12 at Hoops to Hustle, coached the fundamentals to the age group 7-12 with the Vernon Minor Basketball Association. I played on my schools senior basketball team even in my junior year and was the lead in points . I also played football in high school. Led yards for wide receiver in my division on my first year of ever playing, and was voted all star in my grade 11 year. I do what has to be done to get my team ahead, keeping my team mates positive and moving forward to the best outcome. I have a great ball IQ and can finish no problem. Once I get onto a team I know I can bring many positives and grow my skills quickly.
Working hard to keep my basketball skills going, I have really focused on bring up my grades , so far reaching a grade average of B (85%) .Throughout college I want to keep growing as a player, with tougher challenges, and higher competition to push me. I want to get an education in sports management/ marketing. I want to leave my education with valuable life experiences, creating new connections, to be the best at what I am doing whether sports or just life. I want to have a opportunities to play on a team that is as passionate for the game as myself, I don't plan on letting any of that experience slip through my fingers, and want to keep on working all aspects of life!
