Michael Alvarez '12 Recruiting Profile

I am 6'3" and 190 lbs. I have played varsity basketball for 3 years now. I am a junior and I am very passionate for the game of basketball. My biggest attribute that I can offer to a team is hard work. I am always striving to get better as a basketball player and a person. I would like to go to school somewhere close to where I live, but I am open to hopefully playing basketball anywhere. I want to play division1 and hopefully get a scholarship. I have not fully decided on my major yet. I am still in the process of deciding. I can bring many attributes to a team as well. One of my trademarks is defense. I work hard to play good defense. Additionally, I can play either of the guard positions. I can handle the ball and also shoot it well. Another strength of mine is my vision and ability to see the court and my teammates. I can drive the ball well giving myself and teammates opportunities to score the ball. I am a team player, and will do what it takes to help my team win the game or get better.
