Zayne Smith '25 Recruiting Profile

Basketball has been a part of my entire life growing up.  From youth basketball learning the fundamentals, to now playing competitively in high school the sport has taught me a lot about life.  Many aspects and behaviors that I have picked up through the last few years has allowed me to grow as a student athlete in the classroom and on the court.  By watching the sport at a young age and participating in camps it heavily influenced me to continue to play and improve.  As a sophomore in high school I want to continue to hold myself accountable in the classroom so I have the opportunity to play at the collegiate level.  The camps and role I have had on my team have helped me open up and become more of a leader on the floor and I can't wait to continue the growth within the game until I reach my full potential.
