Evan Lucas '24 Recruiting Profile

Looking to play college basketball for a coach who is looking for a player who can stretch the floor and knock down shots at a high percentage. Team captain since my sophomore year. First team all-conference my sophomore, junior and senior seasons and led the conference in three-pointers scored per game each year. Averaged 16.3 ppg last season and also lead in three-pointers made per game in my conference and was one of the state leaders as well. Helped my team win a state championship which was the first time in school history.

Invited to participate on the USA Showcase team traveling to the UK in August 2023 to participate against the top teams in the UK. Coach Joe Callero is the coach and is a former Division 1 college coach. 

December 27, 2023 became the second leading scorer in school history when scoring more than 1000 points. Later in the year became the school's all-time leading scorer and became #1 in the Northern Conference Section (NCS) in three-pointers made (105), #18 in California and #75 in the nation. Led team to NCS finals and received and helped lead my team to the CIF State playoffs for the second time. Won the Division 5 CIF State Championship game which is the first in school history and earned player of the game. Finished the game with 20 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 blocks and two steals.
