Isaac Drake '17 Recruiting Profile

I currently attend St. Bernard's Catholic Academy in Eureka California & am currently a junior. This season I have accomplished many of my highest achievements. As I have been apart of a State Championship football team as well as a driving force for a State Championship title for our basketball team. In the final Championship game for the St. Bernard's Crusaders I was able to score 34 of the teams 60 points, with several assists, a few blocks & steals. I have been playing basketball since the age of 7, I have played for each of my elementary, middle and now high school teams. I've been able to play for our local AAU team the Humboldt Thunder & on the Nor Cal pump n run out of Sacramento; coached by John Florance.

As a player on the team I look for the smartest ways to score, whether it be driving strong to the basket, drawing the players in so I can pass out to an open teammate, or just playing focused defense. I can play strong one on one defense, I like to pressure the other players to make a mistake that I can capitalize on, get them off their game so they have to play ours.
