Anthony Silva '16 Recruiting Profile

     My collegiate goal is to receive a scholarship to college and study to become a Broadcaster for an network like ESPN. My ambitions are to be great at basketball and the major I study. I do not want to be average or good, I want to be great!  My character is very important to me. I care about my teammates and I want to push them to excel each and every day. I am a bright and nice guy to be around, and I know that I would bring great value to a team. Basketball is huge in my life. I workout smart, and extremely hard everyday. Whether it is 5 AM or 10 PM, I'm always the first one at practice and the last to leave. There is times where I even get kicked out because my coach wants me to go home. On top of that, I love watching and studying old games. I love to learn the game just as much as play the game. Finally, The classroom is definitely an area I take seriously. My grades are extremely important to me, and I know the only way I can move on to college is to get high grades. If I need help with homework or need to study, I do not hesitate to call my tutor for help so I can get the best grade possible. I know that without high grades and understanding the material that it is very difficult to get a nice high paying job so I definitely do my very best.
