When I was 10 two pivotal things happened in my life. The first was winning the Knights of Columbus State Free Throw Competition and the second was deciding I wanted to be an architect. I had to put a tremendous effort in to become state champion. That work ethic has been ingrained into my daily life. I’ve also been able to take what I’ve learned on the design table and translate it to the basketball court. I have exceptional court vision and read the defense well. As a team player I’m happy to utilize those skills to help my teammates score if that translates to a win.
I’ve faced quite a few challenges over the last few years. After the COVID shutdown I had to fight hard to get back to where I was athletically. It took time, effort, and patience but I did it.
I’ve always been a natural leader on the court and I’ve learned the importance of cooperation on the court. The better we play as a team the better we do overall.
Ultimately I am looking for a program that will fit well with my style of play and athleticism that includes an academic program that will help me attain my goals. I know I can add value to a college team with my character, work ethic, and ability to adapt and overcome obstacles. As a dual sport athlete and team leader I know the level of commitment it will take to be a successful member of your team.
