Personal Statement

Basketball has become a very important part of my life.  I have been a member of my school teams since the sixth grade and club teams since the third grade.  Basketball has taught me how to have a strong work ethic, and be a team player.  I am often recognized for being coach-able and a good leader.

I was very excited as a sophomore to be a part of the varsity team and winning the 2017-2018 Valley Championship.  Being a part of the varsity team allowed me to grow as an athlete playing with and against strong competitors.  I saw my basketball IQ increase and my skills become sharper.

When looking for a college and a basketball program it is important for me to find somewhere that has a good balance in both sports and academics.  Over the next few years I will continue to grow as a student and an athlete.  My commitment to education and basketball shows that I would be a great candidate for a college level program.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
