Andrew Hernandez '19 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to play as much basketball as I can at the highest level possible. I want to continue and strengthen my love for basketball at the college level. I believe I'm a good candidate for college teams because I am the type of player that will help not only my teammates individually, but as a group/team. My character is a big part of my game as I am able to control my emotions and be the captain/motivator that every team needs. Although I'm not where I want to be athletically, I'm capable of learning and growing as a basketball player. Academically, I'm very dedicated to school and my work. Although my dream is to play in the NBA, I know I need good grades and a great work ethic in school in order to get where I want to be. As everyone says "many kids want to play in the NBA but don't want to put the work in", I'm a player and student who's dedicated to putting in work in both areas in order to succeed.
