Despite my achievements on the court, I'm a late bloomer and under the radar as a prospect. I grew about 6 inches (to 6'6) in the last 12-18 months and added significant size. As a result, I was 2021 First-Team All-CIF (L.A. / Southern Section), First-Team All-Conference (and effectively Conference Player of the Year, despite no formal vote during the Covid-shortened season), and Team MVP on the first state playoff time in school history. Unfortunately, Covid kept me from having an AAU summer and the recruiting / press opportunities, etc. to gain exposure.
UPDATE: I was named First Team All-CIF and First Team All-Conference again for the 2022 season. Our team advanced to the State regional semifinals.
I'm passionate about the sport and view my "late development" as a challenge -- not a drawback. I pride myself on my work ethic, my intelligence and my desire to be around and among winners in everything I do!
I'd love to have the opportunity to show you that I'm the type of player and person that you'd be proud to have in your program.
