Jack Watkins '21 Recruiting Profile

Ever since 1st grade when I started playing basketball, I have known that I love the game and that I would want to play at the highest level I can achieve. Throughout all my years of playing and always being a captain of my team, I have learned how important it is to be leader on and off the court. My Junior year has so far been my most important year as a student-athlete. It has been a new challenge to take on my hardest academic school year as well as being a two sport varsity player. It has strengthened my efforts of becoming a better player and my capability of playing at the next level.

As I have played, my knowledge and understanding for the game has become very strong as well as my skills, which help me be a great point guard. These last three years in High School have taught me the values of commitment, teamwork and sacrifice and how each have their own role in basketball. I am looking for a school that not only would be a good fit athletically, but also academically. I believe that with the talent, knowledge, commitment, and leadership I possess, I will be a big impact to your program and a great leader on your team.
