Elijah Simpson '21 Recruiting Profile

I began my high school basketball career as a freshman starting point guard on JV. I led my team to its first league title since our school re-opened, which was back in 2003. This was the only basketball team in our program to have won league since then. This is one of the biggest highlights of my basketball career and has propelled me to where I am now. I am the starting Varsity Point guard heading into my senior season at Palos Verdes, and have already accomplished many feats. Last year, my first year starting on Varsity and second year on Varsity in general, I was named second team all league and named to two out of three first team all tournaments.

From all this, I have gained the necessary experience to play ball at the next level. As a Varsity Captain, I feel as though I have the skill, work ethic, and overall leadership to be a part of a collegiate program. I'm looking forward to leading my Varsity team to it's first league title since 1976 next year, as well as gearing up to play at the next level.
