Growing up with an older brother who loves basketball, I started loving hoops as soon as I could walk. My brother pushed me to work harder and get better, and helped turn me into the competitor I am today.
I started playing on a travel team in 4th grade, and have had some amazing coaches who've taught me to play the right way. In my sophomore year of high school, I played second fiddle to my senior brother on Varsity. This past season, as a junior, I had to step up and become the leader and produce more offensively. Our team had a great season, making it to the semis of state playoffs for the first time in school history. Next year, I hope to bring the first state title to Piedmont.
My goal in college is to play at the highest level possible, at a school that also offers strong academics. I see myself as a team-first guy, and someone who leads by playing hard at both ends of the floor. I'm a scorer, but I take pride in making the right pass or the right screen or a good hustle play - basically, whatever I can do to help my team win.
