I've been playing basketball almost my whole life and over the years have developed a passion and hunger for the game. I have a strong work ethic and strive to be my best on and off the court at all times. It doesn't matter if it is practice or a game, I give everything I have and more. Everything is left on the court from the first whistle to the final buzzer. I am a strong-handled player with high intensity who has the ability to see the court and process the game at a high speed. I am quick, versatile, tough (mentally and physically) and have earned the reputation for being a defensive stopper.
My coaches describe me as a ‘coachable, clutch and vocal leader’. As the trusted leader on the court, I see myself as an extension of the coach on the court and do my best to bring our team together so we can win as a team.
I am looking for a college that is competitive in athletics and will also challenge me academically. Ideally, I would like to join a program where I can make an immediate impact on the team.
