Derek Lamb '23 Recruiting Profile

My main goal in life is to play college basketball at the highest level, I am willing to do what it takes.  It would be an amazing opportunity to gain a college degree from a well established institution, in preparation  for a life long career.  As a very hard worker, I will not stop working until the goal is successfully achieved. I strive to do my best no matter the situation or circumstance.  I am a very quick learner that thinks critically about what the drill or situation is and drive to understand why it’s important or what my role is. I understand concepts very fast, which allows me to quickly grasp new things, such as plays or defensive sets. Like many other student-athletes, I hold my self to a high academic standard striving for a perfect 4.0 GPA or higher.  Most importantly I view work ethic, humility, truth, and honesty in high regard.  I will work tirelessly to be a model student-athlete for any school and believe I can earn the opportunity to represent any university.
